Writing Event Reception-Year 5

Dear Parents/Carers,

To start the Summer Term, all classes from Reception to Year 5 will be taking part in an Environmental Writing unit. Linked to World Earth Day on 22nd April, each class will explore a text that encourages children to reflect on the world around them and how we can care for it.

As part of this unit, the children will produce a piece of writing along with accompanying artwork, which we are very much looking forward to sharing with you.

We would like to invite parents and carers to view the children's work on Tuesday 5th May at 3:30pm. Please collect your child as usual, after which you will be able to re-enter the school and visit your child’s classroom to see what they have produced.

We hope you can join us to celebrate the children’s work.
