EY Nativity performance
Description
Friday 22nd November 2024
Dear EYFS parents/carers,
Your children are currently busy in school learning a script and songs to perform the Christmas Nativity to you. Due to the number of children in our cohort this year and the space available to us on the stage, the decision has been made that the children will perform in two halves, each group of children performing in a dress rehearsal and a choice of two separate performances for you to choose.
All of Clover Class and ½ of Daisy Class will perform together – These children are the Sparkly Stars!
All of Buttercup Class and ½ of Daisy Class will perform together – These children are the Jingle Bells!
Performance dates are as follows:
Monday 9th December (Dress Rehearsal for both groups performed to local nurseries and siblings in school only)
Tuesday 10th December 9:30am– The ‘Jingle Bells’ (Buttercup and ½ Daisy)
Wednesday 11th December 9:30am – The ‘Sparkly Stars’ (Clover and ½ Daisy)
Thursday 12th December 9:30am – The ‘Jingle Bells’
Friday 13th December 9:30am – The ‘Sparkly Stars’
Parents/carers of Daisy Class children – your child will come home wearing a sticker (with an additional sticker in their planner) to inform you of whether your child is a ‘Jingle Bell’ or a ‘Sparkly Star’, to enable you to book tickets for the correct performance. The class has been split in half randomly just for logistical purposes to help ensure every child in the year group has a place on the stage in this year’s nativity.
All ticketed performances will begin promptly at 9.30am in the Infant School Hall.
Tickets are free and need to be booked via Eventbrite.
For the “Jingle Bells” performances go to:

For the “Sparkly Stars” performances go to:

Then choose the date you require and select up to 2 tickets maximum in total.
Due to fire regulations and the hall capacity, we are limiting tickets to 2 per child initially, if you would like extras, please contact the school office and we will keep a waiting list should additional seats become available.
Our PTA will be offering refreshment at each show of tea, coffee and mince pies for a donation. The refreshments will be available before the show so that you can wait in the hall after you drop your child off.
For these performances, we ask that you send your children into school wearing a white t shirt/polo shirt and black/ grey bottoms (trousers or leggings). They will also need to wear black school shoes.
We will provide hats and any costumes, where they are needed.
We look forward to seeing you for this very special, Christmassy occasion!
Many thanks,
The EYFS team.
