Y1 trip to Woburn Safari
Description
Re: Year 1 trip to Woburn Safari Park
Dear Parents and Carers
As part of our curriculum work on animals, we have organised a trip to Woburn Safari Park to
further engage the children with hands-on learning about a variety of animals.
Details:
Date: Friday 14th March 2025
Timings: Normal school hours. We should be back for normal school finish of 3:30pm.
Special clothing required: Children should wear school uniform and will need appropriate waterproofs or sun hats as per the weather forecast.
Permission
Permission is required for this trip. Please use Parentmail to give your permission for your child to attend.
The trip has been thoroughly planned and carefully risk assessed by the trip leader, our Educational Visits Coordinator and by Miss Lally. A copy of the risk assessment is available upon request.
Voluntary Contributions
This trip is to enhance our curriculum and we are relying on parental contributions to enable the trip to take place. We would appreciate you paying a donation of £24.50 to cover the cost of the entrance fee, coach, workshop and private tour guide for the road safari. If insufficient voluntary contributions are received, this trip will not go ahead.
Please pay this amount via our ParentMail online payment system here Login - IRIS ParentMail or log in to your Parentmail mobile app. Payment to be received by 21st February 2025
Lunch arrangements
Children will need a packed lunch for this trip. Kingswood packed lunches (https://www.kingswoodcatering.co.uk/login) can be provided for free for all children but these must be requested online by 5th March 2025.
If children bring their own packed lunch, it should be in a clearly named disposable carrier bag including a disposable drink. It should be nut free and contain no fizzy drinks or sweets.
Yours sincerely,
Mrs Sturman
